When people concerned with my welfare ask me about Taiwan, they typically have three questions. These questions are listed below in sequential order:

Q: Do you speak Chinese?
A: No.

Q: Where exactly in Kaohsiung will you be living?
A: No idea.

Q: Do either of the above answers concern you at all?
A: Not yet.
